Incorporating decades of track technology experience, the Sidewinder track tensioner has been specifically designed to make fitting tracks to your machine as simple as possible. The Sidewinder opens to 870mm centres, which is enough to straddle up to four track plates (depending on track and joining link type). Sidewinder can be positioned on the inside or the outside of the tracks, making it good for fitting next to the cab on front tracks. Safety R clips, which can be fitted in seconds, ensure the tool can never slip off and main tubes and forks are manufactured from high strength alloy steel, ensuring long working life. At 300Nm of torque, the Sidewinder exerts over two tonnes of pulling force. Screw thread is guarded for protection. 41mm AF socket. Sidewinder fits almost all forest machine tracks on the market.N.B.
