We’re pleased to share that Oregon has released a brand new range of SpeedMax XL .404 Anti-Vibe Harvester Guide Bars, designed to deliver improved cutting performance, reduced vibration, and increased durability in demanding forestry conditions. This update includes 14 new bars, replacing the existing SpeedMax XL models in the 80–100 cm range.
As the UK and Ireland distributor for Oregon, we’ll be supplying the full Anti-Vibe range to operators and contractors looking for guide bars that last longer, run straighter, and reduce downtime.
What’s new?
The latest Anti-Vibe development from Oregon brings several performance enhancements, including:
- Reduced bar movement and vibration
- Faster, more efficient cutting
- Improved cut quality
- Reduced rail wear
Designed for tough cutting conditions
The new SpeedMax XL Anti-Vibe bars feature a thicker high-grade alloy steel body, increasing rigidity and reducing unwanted movement when working with hard, frozen, or heavily knotted timber. Combined with precision-milled, induction-hardened rails, the design supports longer service life and straighter cuts.
Other key features include:
- 5% thicker steel for added stability
- Bar stops moving up to 12% faster compared to previous models
- Easy-replace 14-tooth sprocket nose (SMR14T)
- Jet-Fit tail mount for quick bar changes
- LubriTec oiling system to reduce friction and extend bar and chain life
